Synthesis of field practicum and coursework throughout the curriculum to promote students’ identity as beginning-level social workers, and to facilitate their transition to professional practice. Critical thinking and reflection will be emphasized as students identify and evaluate the empirical and theoretical foundations or practice specific to the field practicum. Senior outcome assessment is integral to this course. Prerequisite(s): Social work majors only. Corequisite(s): SOWK 481 and SOWK 482 field practicum.
