BIO 457. Biological Applications of Geographic Information Systems

This course will explore the various ways that geographic information systems (GIS) can be used to answer biological questions. Students will use GIS software to study applications in ecology, conservation biology and environmental biology. No prior GIS experience is required. Prerequisite(s): BIO 150 /BIO 150L  or BIO 250 /BIO 250L .
