BIO 375. Sensation and Perception Cross listed with: PSYC 375 Credits 3.00 PeopleSoft Course ID 001648
This course explores the nature and development of human sensory capabilities and processing, and how these affect perception of the environment. A potential list of the variety of systems reviewed includes hearing, vision, smell, taste and touch/pain, as well as phenomena such as the perception of balance. Prerequisite(s): Psychology majors: PSYC 211 or PSYC 213 . Biology majors: Declared biology neuroscience concentration, PSYC 101 or PSYC 160 , and MATH 220 , MATH 229 , MATH 285 or MATH 318 .
