ART 272. Printmaking: Relief and Intaglio

An introduction to the history and techniques of relief and intaglio printing. Lectures, demonstrations and projects will involve oil based and water-soluble inks, linocut, woodcut, wood engraving, collagraph, drypoint, engraving, line etching, aquatint, softground, color registration and related photographic processes. Formerly ART 354 . Prerequisite(s): ART 102  and ART 104 .
