NUTR 606. Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy I

The first of two clinical dietetic courses provides students the foundational knowledge of the nutrition care process. Students have didactic and experiential learning opportunities in the area of clinical nutrition, including the application of the nutrition care process to provide medical nutrition therapy to treat and prevent chronic disease. Prerequisite(s): Admission to the Master of Science in Applied Nutrition program.
