MUS 256. Contrapuntal Techniques

Study of counterpoint through analysis and composition. Although the course emphasizes eighteenth-century counterpoint, other kinds of counterpoint (such as sixteenth- or twentieth-century) may also be covered. Prerequisite: Grade of “C-” or higher in MUS 241 .
