ENGR 212. Statics and Dynamics (3,1)

This course provides the fundamental and governing principles of particles and rigid bodies for the analysis of these structures.  Topics include equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies, force and moment vectors, kinematics, and dynamics of particles, work and energy.  An included laboratory component provides reinforcement of course material through experiments. Prerequisite: Grade of “C” or better in ENGR 112 ; grade of “C-” or better in each of PHYS 240 , PHYS 240L  and MATH 237 .
