POSC 334. Political Thought of James Madison

3.00
This course examines the political thought of James Madison (1751-1836). Madison was a profound political thinker who read voraciously, thought deeply, and wrote eloquently and carefully about many of the leading political questions of his day—and ours.  In this class, we will read, understand and critically assess what Madison contributed to these political dialogues and more generally to the American political tradition. Prerequisite: POSC 201 .
