ISAT 331. Cyber-Physical Industry 3.00 In-depth introduction to cyber-physical systems for automated production, from maker scale to global supply chains, emphasizing quality, usability and cybersecurity. Topics include robotics and flexible manufacturing systems, industrial monitor and control systems (RTU, PLC, SCADA, HMI, SIS, DCS), Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), human factors and ergonomics in HMIs including virtual/augmented/mixed reality; autonomy, critical infrastructure, and smart cities. Prerequisite: ISAT 211 and ISAT 251 or permission of the instructor.
