HSA 463. Quality Management in Health Care

This course examines the quality management function required in diverse health care organizations. The student is exposed to definitions and standards of quality in health care, as well as to various tools used to measure, evaluate and improve quality. Emerging issues affecting the management of health care quality are discussed. Prerequisite: Fully admitted HSA major, HTH 354  and HSA 358  or permission of the instructor.
