BIO 375. Sensation and Perception

Explores the nature and development of human sensory capabilities and processing, and how these affect perception of the environment. A potential list of the variety of systems reviewed incudes hearing, vision, smell, taste, and touch/pain, as well as phenomena such as the perception of balance. Prerequisite: Psychology majors: PSYC 211 or PSYC 213. Biology majors: Declared biology neuroscience concentration, PSYC 101 or PSYC 160, and MATH 220, MATH 285 or MATH 318.
