FIN 301. Principles of Finance 3.00 The purpose of this course is to provide a foundation in the principles and tools of finance, which include financial analysis, the time value of money, capital budgeting and capital structure. Open to students with a B.S. or B.A. economics major with a concentration in finance as well as students majoring in health sciences. Open to students as a repeat/forgive for COB 300B . Prerequisite: Junior standing and COB 241
