PHYS 285E. Using Maple in Physics

An introduction to Maple (a widely-used computer algebra and visualization software package), with emphasis on its applications in physics. Students will meet in a computer lab once per week for 2 hours. Class meetings will consist of a brief (30 minutes or less) introduction to a topic, followed by student work on a problem or project dealing with that topic.
