NSG 393. Issues in Family Violence 1.00 This course introduces students to the roots of family violence, including the political, cultural, social, and economic structures that perpetuate violence, and explores approaches to changing those structures in order to reduce or end violence. Students will think critically about the local and global impact of family violence, how it intersects with other forms of oppression, and achieve an understanding of these issues that will be useful intellectually and personally.
