HIST 434. Recent America 3.00 An interpretive study of U. S. History from the Watergate era through the present. Emphasis is given to cultural, social, political, environmental, economic, educational and ethical issues, as well as considerations of indigenous peoples, foreign policy, activism, and American idealism. History Majors must have earned credit for HIST 395 prior to enrolling in this course.
