HIST 427. U. S. Environmental History 3.00 An interpretive study of the development of environmental thought in the United States. Emphasis is given to philosophies of nature, land and resource usage and conservation, the environmental movement and organizations, environmental activism and radicalism, landscape restoration, and environmental mitigation and protection. History Majors must have earned credit for HIST 395 prior to enrolling in this course.
