HIST 453. Patterns of Global History 3.00 This course introduces students to the literature, concepts, themes and methodology of global history, a subfield of history that seeks to compare experiences across regional, area, cultural and temporal boundaries, to look at cross-culture interactions and to examine large-scale patterns that have shaped history on a global scale. Prerequisites: HIST 101 , HIST 102 and HIST 395 .
