ARED 610  Studio Experiences in the Schools

A course designed for the art teacher to explore, investigate and produce artwork in media or approaches unfamiliar to the teacher. Emphasis will be placed on acquiring skills and knowledge with respect to materials and processes of specific media, as well as their direct application to students in a school setting.
ARED 682  Research Methods for Educational Settings

Research methods that can be used to study aspects of art education and general education are explored. Research proposals developed during this course will reflect a range of contemporary issues and practices unique to the field of art education.
