Program Options
The School of Nursing offers three baccalaureate program options. The Traditional B.S.N. and Fast Flex B.S.N. prepares traditional undergraduate students to practice as an entry-level professional nurse. The R.N. to B.S.N. is a degree completion pathway that provides flexible learning opportunities for licensed R.N.s who have an associate degree or diploma to complete the baccalaureate degree.
Graduate Programs offered at JMU School of Nursing include Master of Science of Nursing (M.S.N.) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (D.N.P.). The M.S.N. concentrations are advanced practice RN (nurse practitioner) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwifery or Psychiatric Mental Nurse Practitioner. Leadership MSN concentrations are Clinical Nurse leader or Nurse Administrator. DNP offerings include post masters DNP or post BSN-DNP in either APRN FNP, AGPCNP or Healthcare Systems Leadership.

Special Expenses
A differential tuition of $104 per credit hour is added to the standard charge for courses carrying the NSG prefix. This charge applies to all students, both in-state and out-of-state, at the undergraduate and graduate levels, with exception of students enrolled in the R.N. to B.S.N. program.
