BIO 453. Microbial Ecology and Evolution (2, 4). 3 credits. The ecology of microorganisms will be covered, including those important in human health and in natural environments. Emphasis will be placed on the study and critique of scientific literature. Credit may not be earned in both BIO 453 and 553. Prerequisites: BIO 124 or BIO 250, and BIO 280, BIO 245 or BIO 380.
