NSG 350H. Foundations of Nursing

This course provides an overview of foundational principles of professional nursing practice. Students will be introduced to the evolution of nursing, basic nursing theory and knowledge, and beginning concepts. This course promotes self-analysis and socialization into the role of the professional nurse. Students will explore the healthcare literature to identify and develop an honors thesis focus. Prerequisite: Admission to the honors program.
