ITAL 423. A Study of Italian Prose Fiction


A study of Italian prose fiction from the Middle Ages to the 21st century, including a selection of texts by prominent authors such as Giovanni Boccaccio, Alessandro Manzoni, Primo Levi, Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa, Elsa Morante, Italo Calvino Umberto Eco, and Elena Ferrante. Prerequisite: ITAL 300  or the permission of the instructor
