MUS 146. Jazz Theory and Ear Training

This course introduces students to the basic elements of jazz melodic, rhythmic, and harmonic structure and style. Written analytical techniques and aural skills development will be emphasized. Prerequisite:  MUS 141 , MUS 143  or permission from the instructor.
