KIN 432. Physiology of Endurance Performance

This course aims to provide students with an understanding of how to utilize endurance training to maximize athletic performance. Various factors that limit endurance performance and examine methods to overcome these factors will be explored. Emphasis will be placed on the role of seasonal periodization and program planning to maximize the long-term development of athletes. Supplemental factors that may also aid performance, such as equipment, nutrition, and ergogenic aids will be discussed. Prerequisite:  KIN 302  & KIN 302L
