ISAT 456. Ethical, Legal, & Social Implications of Biotechnology

The ethical, legal, and social implications of the field of biotechnology and its applications are explored in this course. Students will analyze at an in-depth level the social impacts and ethical implications of human subjects and biological materials research, cloning, human genetic engineering, and transgenic agricultural crops. Prerequisite:  ISAT 131  & ISAT 231  or BIOT 260  or Permission of Instructor
