GEOG 329. Global Climate Change

3.00
This course examines the interrelationship of the physical nature of the climate system, climate variability and change, and human activities. Case studies (El Nino, global warming, and stratospheric ozone depletion) are used to investigate how climate affects society, how human activities affect climate, and how nonclimatic issues complicate our understanding of the relationship between climate and society. We consider how projections of future weather and climate affect decision-making. Prerequisite: GEOG 210  with a “C” or better.
